This North Carolina wedding from Ashley Brockinton is awesome. First, I want to tell you about Ashley and Sam. They’re actually the first photographers that I met upon “diving” into the wedding industry. They are the sweetest, most genuine people, they have the cutest little girls, and their photography is amazing, which is definitely a plus. :) And, they have the coolest little intro video on their blog that you just HAVE to see!
So now, on to the wedding. After consulting with the handy {ELD} Wedding Style Dictionary, I’ve come to the conclusion that the style of this wedding is definitely dapper (spruce and stylish- I bet you didn’t know exactly what dapper meant!) garden (of, relating to, used in, or frequenting a garden). This wedding has some great DIY details… including some things that I’ve never seen before, like the way the escort cards/favors were set up. The color palette, yellow and navy, is an example of how the two colors can be used together in a “nonpreppy” way, which is beautiful. And so, here it is…
I love the simplicity of this wedding, how it’s still absolutely gorgeous, and the overall feeling and emotion that comes from the photos. I love that! Oh, and the mountains in the backgrounds of some of the photographs. Breathtaking! (Not something we see a lot of here in Florida!) Thanks for sharing your amazing work Ashley and Sam!!

Thanks for the blog, Lauren. Sam and Ash are pretty gifted artists, and it doesn't hurt that they're also just about the coolest people I know. I'm also lucky to have girlfriends who are beautiful on the outside, but so much more importantly on the inside! And the cake... my favorite personal touch. We had so much fun remembering all of our inside jokes, and it made for some great conversation at the reception.Custom Labels:
