I wanted to give you all a little taste of my latest “vendor crush”, Indie Atlantic Films. But first off: my “two-cents” about videography. (I actually hate the word and prefer cinematography, but videography is more general, whereas cinematography is more of a style, and so videography is what I’ll have to use.) Many brides never even consider it because they think it’s too much money or their pictures will capture their wedding day just fine. But it’s only if you’ve never seen a GOOD wedding video that you’ll think those thoughts.

A GOOD wedding video will bring you to tears. A GOOD wedding video makes you feel like you are attending the wedding. You can hear and feel the emotion of the bride and groom saying their vows. You can see exactly what they said and did right after the ceremony. There are so many things that a GOOD wedding video can do. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE photography (if you haven’t already figured that out). But videography captures a whole different aspect of your wedding. Take a look at these clips from Indie Atlantic Films, and see for yourself…

I actually still kind of can’t even watch GOOD wedding videos because they make me cry- both because they’re so awesome and because my video was not the best. (I watched it the first time, cried because it was so bad, and haven’t touched it since. If you haven’t been with me from the very beginning, long story short- I wasn’t in the wedding industry when I got married and I had NO clue about anything.)

But seriously, don’t you tear up with those clips? They capture such amazing moments, feelings, and emotion. There’s no other way. There are so many reasons to have a videographer capture your wedding, and let’s face it- not that many as to why you shouldn’t have one. Check out some full wedding videos from Indie Atlantic Films on their website, and see more of what I mean! It really does feel like you’re watching a movie!
