…my husband and I got married! Yesterday we celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We didn’t do anything special, but it was awesome for the two of us to be able to spend the whole day together because we’re always on completely opposite schedules. We spent the afternoon at the beach, and apparently we forgot how strong the sun is (haven’t been to the beach since our honeymoon last year), so now we’re incredibly sunburnt. Wish us luck in functioning for the next week!
I think I’m kind of obligated to share some photos from our wedding. But first, a disclaimer: You all know how I feel about photography and decor. Most of my opinions and feelings have come from my own experiences, and I in no way would do the same things for my wedding again. It was a beautiful wedding, but totally not what I would do now, and definitely not the style of photography I would have. —- Okay, so now that I’ve said all that, some photos from 1 year ago!

Oh yes, so many things that I would do differently now. But there you have it- my wedding, one year ago. Perhaps I should do a post all about what exactly I would have done differently. What do you think?
And a little something for my husband, Schuyler: I love you more as each day passes. I can’t wait for what the future holds for us! Now for the next week he and I will revel in the fact that a year ago we were having the time of our lives on our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic- not quite as sunburnt as we are now…

Beautiful!! And happy anniversary :) I think there is always something (if not many things) that a bride would change about her wedding - especially after many years! Themes change, new ideas pop up, dress designs are new and fresh. I'm all for having a renewal of vows here and there!Nicole-Lynn:

Happy Anniversary! Your wedding was gorgeous! I would be interested to know what you would do differently. I always like to hear this from my friends after their weddings. It definitely helps :) Thanks.Jessica @ The Budget Savvy Bride:

Happy Anniversary! Although you may have done a few things differently, I have to say that you were beaming and such a beautiful bride. The flowers are gorgeous, the cake is BEAUTIFUL and whatever that building is you're standing outside is amazing! And just think....if it hadn't been for the honeymoon you might not be as proactive with the sunscreen as you are these days! :-)Aleah + Nick:
