We have a new sponsor this week! My Kate Parker Wedding has joined the ranks of the {ELD} sponsors, and I’m SO excited to share a little info with you all about it! I did a brief post about it a few months back when it first launched, but it’s even bigger now!
My Kate Parker Wedding is a wedding resource and vendor directory developed and designed by a wedding planner for chic & savvy brides and grooms. When you sign up (for free!), you customize your whole planning “experience” on myKPW by specifying your location, budget, style, season, and color scheme. MyKPW is basically everything all in one place. You can find inspiration by color, season, or style. Vendors post recent weddings of theirs and create inspiration boards, giving you access to a ton of knowledge and inspiration from vendors. See real weddings or inspiration boards by your colors or wedding style. If you want to find a vendor, you can select a vendor category, and see all of their work. And this is just the inspiration part of myKPW!

All brides have some sort of To Do list for planning their wedding. [I say don't waste your money on one of those wedding planning books- just read my {Thursday Tips}, and then hire me! ;)] The myKPW To Do list shows you everything you need to accomplish in order of importance, while directing you to helpful links throughout the website for more insight and inspiration. Better yet, you have the ability to re-arrange the order and add or remove any items that pertain only to your wedding plans. It’s absolutely amazing. I wish I had it when I was getting married!

Another awesome feature is that myKPW shows you the” industry standard” breakdown of your overall wedding budget: under 25k, 25-50k, 50-80k, and 80k and up. As you book your vendors you can input their costs and see how your budget is lining up with the “industry standard”. Every wedding is different and let’s face it, you’re going to make priorities and splurge in one or more areas. MyKPW has bar graphs that will show you how your budget is stacking up to keep your priorities and your wallet/checkbook in check.

I can’t even choose my favorite thing about myKPW. The Real Weddings, the inspiration, the To Do list- there’s even more than what I mentioned in this post. I think the ability to find vendors specific to your area and see what price range they’re in is the best. When I was looking for vendors for my wedding, it was kind of like sticking my hand in a covered box and not knowing what was in it. I was very cautious in my search for vendors, and when I fell in love with one who was out of my price range, it was heart breaking. So, to prevent you all from experiencing that same sort of vendor heart break, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Vendor section of myKPW is the best!
So most definitely go over to myKPW and check it out! Even if you already have your vendors and inspiration already, there are some GREAT tips on there too! Welcome to the {ELD} family myKPW!
