Well everyone, I think this might be the last Style Dictionary shoot I have for you all from this go-around! This one is “vintage chic” from Camille Deann Photography and stylist Carlee Sizemore, and takes a little bit of a different take on everything!

From the lovely Carlee Sizemore

“For our Style Dictionary shoot, we chose “Vintage” and “Chic”. We knew that we did not want this shoot to be over-the-top, but wanted to keep it sweet and simple. Inspiration came from the stylist’s grandparents who would pilot their Cessna 4-seater, the Raggedy Ann, to a supper club of sorts whose members would fly all around the state of South Carolina to share a meal. What a feeling of freedom to just hop in your plane to jaunt off for a pinic. No elaborate set-up, nothing fussy; just you, your love, some friends and a picnic basket full of goodies. We wanted to translate that feeling of simplistic joy for our shoot by using sweet details like swiss dot and pearls and shooting directly from the picnic blanket.”

The floral pieces were housed in vintage McCoy “Yellow Ware” bowls that can be sourced from many antique shops and were the inspiration for our color scheme of Rose, Mustard, Aqua and Ivory. We loved the idea of mixing the ceramic and glassware with the crystal and heirloom linens to keep our picnic chic and not too kitschy.

I just absolutely LOVE the whole look of this shoot! A little vintage, a little chic, fun and fresh! The idea of using a clutch as a bouquet alternative is pretty awesome too. And the hairpiece- what an amazing alternative to a veil! :) A huge thank you to Carlee Sizemore and Camille Deann Photography for putting together this Style Dictionary shoot!
