Detail To Love: Table Number Napkins

Happy Friday loves! Guess what?! I’m in New York City this weekend! It’s my first time visiting the city as an adult, and it’s pretty fun so far! I’m meeting up with a few other wedding bloggers, and we’re having a blast! :) But the fun of course doesn’t interrupt the week’s posts… it’s time for the Detail To Love! This week’s detail is a pretty awesome twist on table numbers… table number napkins!

Via Twig & Thistle

Awesome, right? Instead of having a table number sign, have all of the napkins indicate what the table number is. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even take it a step further and put each guest’s name on the napkin! There’s also a DIY tutorial for how to do these on Twig & Thistle! :)

So what do you think? Are any of you wanting something different for your table numbers? Would you do something like this?

Detail To Love: Beer Wall!

Happy Friday everyone! Okay, I have been OBSESSED with this idea since I first saw it months ago! A beer wall, complete with taps and signs for each type of beer! Such an awesome idea for beer lovers, not to mention that it’s a pretty awesome piece of decor!

Isn’t that SO awesome?! What a great idea! This would be especially perfect for a backyard or farm wedding, don’t you think? I just love doing a bar/drinks in different ways. What other ways have you seen? Are any of you doing something different like this for your bar???

Well I don’t know about you, but this makes me want to go grab a beer! It is Friday after all right?! Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Detail To Love: Personalized Escort Cards

Happy Friday friends! Wow, I seriously cannot believe that it’s Friday already. I’ve found myself wishing that I could invent a 48 hour day, because I have WAY too much to do before my whirlwind of a month starts tomorrow! Ah, oh well, guess I’ll be having some late nights! So in advance, pardon me for any sentences that don’t make sense for the next month. ;)

So on to this week’s Detail To Love! I came across these personalized escort cards via Pinterest (of course) and I love their different “take”! They wouldn’t be easy to do with a large wedding, but if you’re having a smaller wedding, how fun would it be to do each escort card personalized to your guests? It would be a pleasant surprise for them, and a great conversation started too!

How FUN are these?! I’m sure you’re already thinking of some fun sayings/greetings that you could do for some of your friends and family, huh? These personalized escort cards are a great way to infuse some personality into your wedding and make your guests feel involved too! So what do you think? Would you do something like this for your escort cards?

Oh my goodness, I am in love with this idea! Yet again another reason why I love small weddings because stuff like this could easily be done.

Detail To Love: Monograms As Decor

Let’s close out this week with a Detail To Love, shall we? Did you see the awesomely modern purple and green wedding last week? Well perhaps you recall that they had an equally awesome monogram decal on the doors of their venue! How cool is that?! Using the the same monogram that you used throughout all of your paper products as a piece of decor? Brilliant!

Well it also just so happens that their monogram and paper products were designed by my friend and ELV paper pro Matthew of a fine press! He posted a few images of their invites, and so I wanted to share one of the photos with you to show you how the invite sets the tone for the wedding!

Pretty awesome invite, right? And see how great it is to have an invite that gives you a glimpse into how the wedding is going to look? I HIGHLY recommend making sure you do that! Okay, enough of my ranting and raving… what do you think about using a monogram as decor? Do any of you have a monogram for your wedding? Are you using it anywhere in the decor for your wedding day?

LOVE the purple and green combo. Something I've considered for my own wedding!
