Detail To Love: A Donut Hole & Hot Chocolate

This snack of a donut hole on a stir stick and hot chocolate (or coffee) was just too cute to not share as a detail! (And my mouth just won’t stop watering at the beautiful sight of it!) The branding on the stir stick and the sleeve around the cup are a nice little “detail” touch too!

How perfect would this be for a Fall or Winter wedding? A little something to pass around to guests as the night is winding down. It’s even something that they can take home too! YUM!

So, are any of you going to do a donut hole and hot chocolate? Or something similar to it? If you are, I want to hear all about it! :)

I love this!!!!!! And, I actually need one now to get me started designing a winter collection for my etsy shop :) I think hot chocolate and a donut hold could do the trick.

I'd die if a bride used this idea at her wedding. everyone loves doughnuts, especially when paired with something warm and toasty on a fall or winter's night!

Detail To Love: Bride & Groom Mason Jars

Yep, it’s official- I LOVE “Mr & Mrs/Bride & Groom” things. I think perhaps my love for them is because they’re great details, and you only have to have two of them, not a bazillion for every single guest. :) And so, enter Bride & Groom mason jars! Essentially it’s just tags that wrap around the jar, which is awesome to do for all your guests if you’re having mason jars as your glasses- that way they can keep them and continue using them throughout the night!

Such a great detail to have at your wedding! Is anyone else planning on having some sort of Mr & Mrs or Bride & Groom detail? I think I might just make something like this for a wedding I have coming up…

Detail To Love: Sparkler Send Off Tags

Ah sparkler send offs. They’re awesome and sparkly and look great in photos. But getting everyone to actually go outside for the sendoff… it’s like pulling teeth! When I saw this little tag attached to sparklers, I KNEW I had to share it! The best way to keep your guests involved in your wedding is to straight up tell them what they need to do. And this is a PERFECT way to let them know about your sparkler send off!

Via Sparklers Online

So if you’re planning on doing sparklers, definitely have some sort of note or sign telling people what time the send off is! It will save you SO MUCH time and patience as you’re trying to leave your wedding! :)

Another thing to keep in mind. The length of burn (as sometimes your guests are slow and the photographer needs to take photos) 14" 1 1/2 min burn 20" 2 min burn 36 inch 4 min burn The 36" sparkler is your best choice (and have a bucket of water handy to dispose of them)

I love this and I love how the time of the special event is right there without an announcement being made of what to do. Very clever.

Detail To Love: Custom Coasters

Well, today is my birthday, and of course I’ll still be working all day! Days off don’t exist when you have your own business, right? ;) But I am definitely looking forward to a possible cupcake, dinner out with my husband, and a drink or two to celebrate!

So on to this week’s Detail To Love! If you haven’t figured it out by now, I love details. (Really?) ;) To add to that, I love unexpected details, and these custom coasters are just that! A chipboard coaster like this is fun of course, but then add a sweet thank you/dedication to your parents (or whoever else) like this couple did, and you have something unexpected, not to mention incredibly sweet! :)

What other unexpected details have you seen that you like? Are you planning on doing an unexpected detail or two for your own wedding? :)
