Detail To Love: Escort Candles

I’m always looking for new ways to do escort cards, and these would be perfect for an elegant wedding! A beautifully designed escort card and ribbon wrapped around a candle? Beautiful! What’s even better is that they can be incorporated into the decor of your tables! You would have guests place them at the center of their table, around the centerpiece if it’s a round table or between centerpieces if a long table. And the fact that candlelight is just ABSOLUTELY gorgeous on table is a huge plus too!

Functional AND gorgeous! I LOVE an element of decor that serves two purposes! What do you all think? Is anyone having an elegant wedding that these would be oh-so-perfect for?

Detail To Love: “Wall” of Windows

You all know that I love cool things that can be used for decor! Well when I saw this “wall” of windows as a ceremony backdrop, I knew it was something that I couldn’t pass up sharing with you guys! :) How awesome is this?!

And those hanging jars with candles just complete the whole entire design! LOVE love love it! Using vintage windows is fun, but arranging them so they’re like artwork and become a wall is genius! And I’ll tell you what- if you’re using the same space for your reception, a “wall” like this would be an awesome place for a head table, sweetheart table, or cake table! It’s a perfect backdrop!

So now raise your hand if you want to have something like this at your wedding!!! :)

Great idea for inexpensive ceremony decor (yard sales, flea market, etc.), that can transition into a great backdrop for something like a dessert table or stations for dinner! LOVE!

those windows fit the space perfectly - but what I love the most is the hanging jars with candles. So pretty and so different than the regular lead of lights strung along the beams. It's quite magical actually.

Detail To Love: Wedding Wishes Cards

Happy Friday! :) I saw these on Pinterest (of course) and thought they would be great to share as a Detail To Love! Yep, yet another guest book alternative- I think it’s safe to say that guest books aren’t too popular anymore, don’t you think? These are perfect for a modern wedding, but it would be awesome to just have your stationery designer make some custom to your wedding too!

And then you can have guests put them inside of a birdcage, a vase, or maybe even something fun like a bottle or a vintage crate- this part all depends on what the style and design of your wedding is. I love these! Is anyone going to be doing “wedding wishes” for a guest book alternative? Will you be using cards like these?

I too like the move from guest books to wedding wish es in different fashions such as these. These are really cute!

Love when couples have note cards rather than a guest book :) Very cute!

Cute! I've never been a fan of guest books so when we got married we had our guests sign their well wishes on a pair of cymbals (my husband is a drummer). They came out amazing and we're planning on hanging them on the wall someday when we have a house with a music room :)
Detail To Love: Ceremony Sunglasses!

When I saw these “ceremony sunglasses” on Pinterest, I got so excited! These are PERFECT for an outdoor wedding- especially if the ceremony is taking place at or around sunset. You don’t want your guests squinting and being blinded by the sun just to see you, right?!

And then these sunglasses would double as your favors! I’m sure everyone would be wearing them all night long- sun or no sun… we all know people like to wear sunglasses at night! ;)

So, who’s having an outdoor ceremony and would consider doing something like these sunglasses? Anyone game?

I am SO into this idea! It'll be perfect for our destination wedding. Although I'm thinking about doing more of the zany/silly sunglasses vs. all black.

I saw this too and loved the idea! Don't get blinded by our love, too cute! It is humorous and practical at the same time. :-)

This is a great idea. And what an awesome picture it would make if the photographer could take a shot of all the guests seated during the ceremony wearing the glasses!
