Some Exciting News!

So I have a little announcement for you all! (And no, I am not pregnant, even though that seems to be the announcement everyone else is making. Not happening for a while.) Today is the FIRST DAY that I am working from home FULL TIME on Every Last Detail! It’s been something that I have been dreaming about and planning for, because I have SO much more that I want to do with ELD and other ventures. And now, I get to devote my whole day, all day long to ELD! (My dog is definitely happy that she doesn’t have to be locked up all day anymore!)

I just HAD to tell you all- because it means that so much is going to be happening for ELD, and of course I need your continued support! Keep telling all of your friends about ELD, tell your favorite vendors to join Every Last Vendor, and keep reading! :) I do have a few things up my sleeve that I’ve been scheming for a little while, which I’ll be announcing once they’re in place! (There just might even be a giveaway for one of the things too!)

On another note… you might remember a contest for Best Expert Wedding Blog that I mentioned a little while ago. Well, ELD came in as the “runner-up” for that contest, with the awesome Perfect Palette as the winner! I must admit, I wish we had won, buuut there’s always next year, right? I’m just excited that I was up against lots of other “experts” in the wedding industry! :) I do get this nifty little banner though…

Yay!  A great way to start off my full-time venture if you ask me! :) Thank you all for your awesome support! I’m so excited to continue my journey with you all by my side! :) (Cheesy but true!)

Congratulations! I know my dogs were lovin' it when I worked from home. But I just moved my business into office space in downtown lakeland this year, and they're still a bit ticked that i'm not with them all day, every day. Good luck to you! I wish you much success.

ELD Featured!

Every Last Detail has been featured recently on a few blogs and in publications, and I thought I would share them with you so you can check them all out! :)

The most involved and exciting feature for me was in the Spring issue of  ”At Home With Valley & Co“, an ezine put out by the design & planning duo of Aleah and Nick Valley! I put together a photo shoot with Shay Cochrane Photography and a couple of other fabulous vendors about a month ago specifically for the ezine, and now I can finally (very soon) share the photos with you all! :)

Check out the feature, starting on page 56 of the “At Home With Valley & Co” Spring ezine!

Every Last Detail was also recently featured in Be In Style’s Best Of The Web Style Blogs! I always can use a little extra style, so I was so excited to be selected! Check out Be In Style if you need a little dose of style in your life. :)

And finally, I’m a “guest judge” for The Bliss Blog’s Photo of the Year contest, organized by planner Amanda Freeman! She did a little introduction post about me today, so you should definitely go check it out! If you don’t know the whole background story of how I ended up here on ELD, you might learn something! :)

Alright, that’s MORE than enough about me! Just had to do a little ELD “update” though! :)

New On ELD: Every Last Vendor!

In case you haven’t noticed yet, another new feature added to ELD is Every Last Vendor (ELV for short)! Every Last Vendor is a vendor guide that includes vendors from all over who have been *approved* by me and understand the need for a focus on details in weddings!

Vendors can be found using four different search criteria, and you can use all four or just one or two to find your perfect vendor…

1. Location: Currently you can search for vendors by state and each vendor’s listing includes the city (or cities) they service. There is even an “Internet” location available too for those vendors who can be a part of your wedding from anywhere (like Etsy shops and such)!

2. Type: Of course you can find a certain type of vendor in ELV- photographers, planners, rental companies, venues- every single possible type of wedding vendor is available!

3. Price Range: This was a big thing for me because when I was planning my own wedding and I found vendors online, I was never too sure about whether or not they would be in my price range. To tell you the truth I actually always assumed they were out of my budget, which was SO not true!

So with that said, there are 3 price ranges that you can search for vendors in: $, $$, and $$$. These ranges are based on what your TOTAL wedding budget is, since you’ll have different amounts that are spent with different types of vendors. “$” is for total budgets up to $35,000, “$$” is for total budgets from $35,000 to $70,000, and “$$$” is for total budgets from $70,000 and up. Some vendors are listed in more than 1 budget, so don’t worry if you see them twice in your search. And you don’t HAVE to stick to these areas- you can look everywhere- but don’t be upset if you fall in love with someone and they’re out of your price range. This is your warning. ;)

4. Style: Of course I’m ALL ABOUT knowing your wedding style, and the same thing goes for vendors- they have to know their style too! Classic, Eclectic, Modern, and Vintage are the four main styles that I’ve focused on with the new ELD. So if you want modern and classic, just select both styles and you’ll be guaranteed to find vendors who have a modern and classic aesthetic to their work.

And then of course once you do the search, all of the vendors in your selected categories will come up. Once you click on one of the vendors, their listing will come up- some vendors even have a photo gallery where you can see all their work!

So there you have it! The nitty gritty details of Every Last Vendor! Since it’s just launched, new vendors are joining every day- so keep checking for new additions! And brides, if you have a favorite vendor who has done an amazing job for you and that you would recommend to other brides, please tell me! Your recommendations are always the most trusted! Happy searching! :)

[If you are a vendor and would like to join Every Last Vendor, please email me for information!]
