A Rustic & Cozy Engagement Session

Fall is finally here, and I thought it would be incredibly appropriate to post this rustic and cozy engagement session from Elisa B. Photography to close out the day! The cool, crisp air makes me want to cozy up next to a fire with some wine and roasted marshmallows… and that’s exactly what this couple did for their session!

And now pardon me while I go get some marshmallows and build a fire… seriously. My husband just got home and we’re going to store! ;) A big thanks to Elisa B. Photography for sharing this beautiful, cozy session with us!

So how many of you have your engagement sessions scheduled for sometime this fall? And who’s going to do something fun like this for it?!

My favorite engagement sessions are where the couple is doing something fun. I LOVE the idea of roasting s'mores. I mean, first of all, who doesn't love s'mores. And second of all, it makes for such a cute, romantic picture!

Proposal Captured By Natalie Franke Photography

Alright, I admit- I’m a sucker for proposals. I just LOVE how guys are getting so creative with proposals. Of all the ideas out there, my favorites are those that are captured! The emotion in those moments is so incredibly true and beautiful. When Natalie Franke sent a video and images of this proposal, it was so adorable and I knew I just had to share it with you all! Watch the video below and then take a look at the images- so fun! :)

Wow, I just LOVE their emotion! How awesome is it to capture the elated emotions of JUST getting engaged?! And thanks to Natalie Franke, we’re able to witness it! What a GREAT way to start the week- with a surprise and tons of love! :)

So tell me- what’s your proposal story? Were you able to have anyone capture it, or did you revel in your happiness in private?

All American Engagement Session

Happy 4th of July everyone! I have a little something for you all today that is appropriately themed for today and so cute! This “All American” engagement session was sent over by Matthew R Photo. Ashley and Jesse are an adorable “country” couple, and when Matthew found out that Jesse is also a marine, he just knew that they had to have a special session!

Adorable! I love it! It’s perfect for the couple and that’s exactly what I like to see- something that reflects the couple and their life together. How many of you are doing (or have done) a little something special for your engagement session?

This was so adoration and I loved the watermelon, bandanas, and Coke shots. You're right, this was the perfect reference for today!

Really liked these photos. Matt did a good job of capturing the country essence - I can almost smell the country air! I also liked the use of the Coca-Cola bottles throughout. Not only do they go well with the red, white and blue theme, but to me, no other product says "All-American" more than Coke. :)

Fun Florida E-Session

I figured it was about time I post an engagement session, and this one from Kat Braman Photography was just too great to pass up. I LOVE e-sessions where the couple is doing something. It’s like you’re just making new memories while conveniently having a photographer present. :)

What a great way to end a session- with some beers! What are you planning on doing for your e-session? Or what have you already done? Anything fun?? A big thanks to Kat Braman for sharing this beautiful e-session with us!

Agreed, Lauren! I think guys/grooms would have a totally different perspective on engagement sessions if they knew it ended with a beer.

The Whole Photoshoot is simply amazing. The couple looks naturally sweet and doesn't look like they're on a shoot. They seem to own a world of their own.
