Milk glass. It’s kind of an obsession of mine. Every time I’m in a thrift store or antique shop, and I see a piece of milk glass, I have to have it- if it’s at the right price of course. Milk glass is seen in a lot of DIY weddings. I think it’s great for any type of wedding- vintage, modern, chic- the white plays into a lot of styles really well. Why DIY you ask? There aren’t many milk glass pieces that are large enough to have huge, intricate …
As Fall approaches, I’m seeing more brides wanting to use shades of orange, red, and yellow. Usually when you think of those colors, the first thing that comes to mind is Fall. Orange is generally associated with a rustic, Fall themed wedding. But what if you’re a bride who wants to have her wedding in the Fall and use orange, but you don’t want a Fall themed wedding? For you, I present… Orange Done Chic!

I’m really feeling the modern, chic combination of pink and gray this week. I apologize if I’m using too much gray, but I promise, I’ll get it out of my system soon! I like the pale pink with a pale gray. It’s so very simple, clean, and chic.

I’m definitely sensing a photo shoot with this vibe- what do you think?
I love purple, but it’s always difficult to find the same shade- whether it’s with flowers, linens or dresses, it’s really hard to match one shade of purple. However, actually using all different shades in a color palette is pretty much the most awesome thing ever. And so, for example, I give you this purple and navy inspiration board. From a light lavender to a deep eggplant, having an array of purples in decor enables you to have a larger selection of flowers to choose from. Throw in some navy …
I apologize for all of the gray in my inspiration boards- I think I probably do like one or two a month. But what can I say? It’s such a chic and modern color! And when paired with white, it’s the absolute, ultimate chicness. So clean and crisp!

I’ve really been loving peaches and corals lately, and I haven’t done an inspiration board in a while, so I thought peach and coral would be the perfect starting point! Pairing two colors that are basically the same but different tones works wonderfully for color palettes. Combine peach and coral with a bold navy, and you’ve got yourself a chic spring or summer wedding!

For some reason, I’m loving black and white this week. It’s so stylish, all the time, no matter who, what, or where. Is that corny? Either way, it’s a perfect color combination for a classic, elegant, and stylish wedding!

Normally I’m not super keen on orange, but for some reason, this week I’m loving the use of kumquats and oranges in wedding decor! I’ve come across lots of it in the past week or so, and it’s just stuck in my head. And so, you all know my love for all colors paired with gray. I usually associate orange with fall weddings, but I think this color combination is perfect for a spring or summer wedding. Especially when paired with gray- it’s so chic and springy!

If you haven’t figured out that I love any color paired with gray, well, you should by now. I created this sort of as an inspiration board specific to Every Last Detail, since the colors of the site are somewhat aqua and gray. (While making this board, I realized that I’ve yet to see a wedding with the color palette of aqua and gray. I’m sure there’s been one, so if you’ve seen it, please send it to me!)
The awesome thing about aqua and gray is that it …
I created this inspiration board for a friend who is having her wedding this summer in Vermont. She will be using vintage blush pinks, with hints of golds, bronzes, and greens. I love the combination of the colors- so garden chic! It’s going to be absolutely beautiful!
