Inspiration Board: A Touch of Blush

I have a new treat for you all! I’ve been ridiculously busy (because I do still have a “day job”), and I don’t always have the time I’d like to create inspiration boards for every week. And because I still want to be able to provide as much inspiration to you as I possibly can, I’ve asked my good friend Alexandria of Bwed Exclusive to share some of her fabulous inspiration boards with us every now and then! And so, I’ll let her take over now with her “Touch of Blush” inspiration board…

I look at this board and all I can think of is a blushing bride. That special touch of pink that graces a girl’s cheeks on her wedding day. You know of what I speak. The pretty flush that began at the first schoolgirl crush, that grew at the first mention of I love you, and then deepening with whispered vows of I do. For me, a touch of blush is the beginning of happily ever after.

A touch of blush makes my heart happy…Does it for you as well?

A big huge thank you to Alexandria for providing us with this absolutely gorgeous inspiration board! Now everyone, be sure to give her a fabulous welcome to ELD with some equally fabulous comments! :) And be sure to check out more of Alexandria’s inspiration boards and more gorgeousness at her blog, Bwed Exclusive!

Inspiration Board: Freshly Classic Peach, Aqua, & Brown

I recently made this inspiration board for a bridal show, which is why it’s a tad bit different than my normal boards. The inspiration was originally “peacock done different”, but it evolved into more of a “freshly classic” look. Using a light blueish/aqua color paired with peach and brown accents, it turned out unique and beautiful.

Row 1: Bouquet, Chivari Chair, Ceremony

Row 2: LinenPeach Peonies

Row 3: MacaroonsPeach Flowers, Books with fruit

The fun touch to this inspiration board is using fruit as part of the centerpiece. It’s an easy way to incorporate a favor for your guests into your centerpieces- just have your wedding planner let guests know that it’s okay to to take the fruit at the end of your reception! I personally am loving peach this year- it’s light and airy, but still fun and bright at the same time. :)

Inspiration Board: Stylish & Modern Yellow, Black & White

It feels like forever since I’ve done an inspiration board! In continuing with yesterday’s post of something to brighten and warm your cold day, I put together this stylish, modern yellow, black, and white board! I know, I know, I just did a black, white and gold board, but this one is different- you know, with yellow. :)

Row 1: Bride and bridesmaids, Ties, Table

Row 2: Escort Cards, Invitation, Favor boxes, Dresses

Row 3: Cake, Placesetting, Shoes, Centerpiece

My favorite part of this board- the use of patterns. It’s so easy to use fabulous patterns with black and white. And it seems so much better with a bright, bold color like yellow added. What color(s) do you like paired with black and white? Share share share! I LOVE your comments! :)

Inspiration Board Fave: Aqua & Gray

Since I am ridiculously busy this week (aka don’t have ANY presents for anyone because I’ve been working and out of town for weeks), I thought I would repost one of my favorite inspiration boards, aqua and gray! Enjoy! :)

If you haven’t figured out that I love any color paired with gray, well, you should by now. I created this sort of as an inspiration board specific to Every Last Detail, since the colors of the site are somewhat aqua and gray. (While making this board, I realized that I’ve yet to see a wedding with the color palette of aqua and gray. I’m sure there’s been one, so if you’ve seen it, please send it to me!)

The awesome thing about aqua and gray is that it can be used for just about any wedding, and that can all be thanks to the wonderful color of gray. Whether it’s a beach wedding or a ballroom wedding, anything with gray is going to be absolutely chic and gorgeous!

Row 1: Bouquet, Bout, Chair

Row 2: Cake, Bridesmaids and Bride

Row 3: Bride, Banner, Centerpieces, Necklace

Modern, chic, and perfect for any season and any wedding. I’m thinking that perhaps an aqua and gray photo shoot could be in the works!
