You all know that I’m ALL about details- hence the name of this blog, Every Last Detail. I believe it’s the details that can make or break a wedding’s decor, and it’s usually the small details, like a favor or escort cards. In my time working in the wedding industry, I’ve seen so many run-of-the-mill details in weddings that just don’t reflect the style and tone of the wedding. Needless to say, they’re thrown together at the last minute, because despite brides’ wants and visions for awesome handmade DIY items …
In lieu of a {Thursday Tips} post this week, I thought I would share the Chic, Modern Pink & Gray Inspiration shoot that I have been waiting for FOREVER to post! The wait was totally worth the wait though, because on Tuesday it was FEATURED on Style Me Pretty- pretty much my dream come true!
This photo shoot started off as my scheming for a bridal show setup for MMD Events- pink and gray, peonies, baby’s breath, simple, modern, etc, to act as sort of a live inspiration board …
I’m so excited about this that I had to stop what I was doing this morning and post it! A photo shoot that I recently did with MMD Events and Kristen Weaver Photography is featured on Style Me Pretty today! Now that it’s featured, I’ll be sharing all of the photos shortly, complete with a total description and all of the DIY projects that I created for it. But for now, here’s a peek, and you can go over to SMP to see some more!!

I received this cute photo shoot from Captured Photography, and I thought it would be great inspiration for brides looking for something fun and different. The look that Modern Events created is focused around a design for a Sweetheart table, but could definitely be made into guest tables as well! And talk about sweetheart inspired- the sweets in this shoot are making my mouth water!
I love the streamers hanging from the trees! Those would be a perfect touch for a ceremony or cocktail hour, and over …
I spent the afternoon in Miami yesterday at the Wedding Salon show, and 2 things came of it: 1) Inspiration, inspiration, inspiration and 2) getting home at 3 AM after being in the car for a total of 8 hours. There is far too much inspiration to refine any of it into an inspiration board just yet, so I thought I would share some of the things that have been inspiring me lately!
{BONUS TIP!} Along with saving and tagging things in Google Reader, I also use a program …
I couldn’t help but share a sneak peek of the photo shoot I had yesterday with Kristen Weaver and MMD Events! I’m so excited about how gorgeous it all turned out!
Excited? I know I am! A full post of the whole shoot is coming very, very soon!
I was talking to my friend yesterday about how amazing she and her bridesmaids are going to look, and so I thought I would share some great bridesmaid looks that are around the internet! I definitely love the look of a spectrum of colors, but some brides might not be completely comfortable with their bridesmaids having to search for dresses.

It’s definitely all in the accessories, especially if the dresses are the same. Belts/sashes, hairpieces, necklaces- things that will stand out a little bit.

If you’re just now catching up, start here at Part 1, then go to Part 2, and now I give you the DIY projects from the shoot…
Paper Doily Garland: This was a total labor of love. These started out in a completely different direction-I made a bunch, didn’t like them, and changed some things around. It definitely took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was a piece of cake. The full DIY is coming soon, but basically I used …
I’m deviating from my normal posting “schedule” this week because I really want to share all of the photos from the photo shoot! And so, today we have some details of the {ELD} Country Chic Shoot…
The Finds: I hit up my local Hospice thrift store, which was a haven for cheap antique things! I purchased 6 plates in the range of $1 to $15, stemware, and 6 sets of cutlery. I found 2 milk glass bud vases for about $5 each, and a gold vase for $5. I …
At the beginning of this year, I started noticing a lot of photo shoots popping up all over blogs. Naturally they’re all great for inspiration. But then I got to thinking- I wonder if brides would be able to replicate these tablescapes and stay within their budgets. Peonies and ghost chairs aren’t exactly the most budget-friendly things.
And so the {ELD} DIY Photo Shoot was born! I’ll be honest, it’s not the absolute best, and it was the very first photo shoot that I’ve ever done (more will be …
