A Classic Florida Wedding

Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in real wedding

Today’s pink and mocha Florida wedding sent to me by Sara Kauss Photography has some gorgeously simple flowers and great paper products! I’m not usually a fan of brown, but the lighter tone of mocha adds a bit of sophistication to the classic pink and brown color palette.

The simple centerpieces with an accent of ribbon around the vase and the table number attached is a great idea! Perfect if you’re wanting to do some DIY centerpieces or just keep things simple. Thanks for sharing this wedding …

Monday, July 26, 2010 in real wedding

Remember this fun Florida engagement session? Well this is their wedding! There are so many great shots of this backyard wedding that Kristen Weaver sent me that I have to split this feature up, so as to not overload you with awesomeness! Kristen was the photographer for the Modern, Chic inspiration shoot, so I don’t have to tell you how great she is- you already know! And so I give you the preceremony shots of Christine and Micah’s wedding….

These photos are just more proof as to how …

A Blue & Yellow North Carolina Wedding

Friday, July 23, 2010 in real wedding

Yellow is one of my favorite colors, so when Indigo Photography sent me this wedding and this shoe photo was the first thing I saw, I was in love. And then I saw the great bridesmaid dresses, the simple, gorgeous bouquets, and the centerpieces comprised of different vases- I was SOLD.

I love those blue vases- they infuse the perfect amount of blue into the centerpieces! And the cupcakes look AMAZING- I can’t even look at them because they look so good! Thank you for sharing this …

A Fun Rustic Texas Wedding

Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in real wedding

There are a few things I love about this wedding- one being the bride and groom’s names, Ryan and Tim- and another being the incredibly fun, rustic decor and details! Nine Photography captured all of the details that Couture Events by Lottie put together, and did so quite well if I might say so. Lots of photos in this post… the details were just all too great to pass up!

It seems like everyone had a great time! I absolutely love the drink station, and the groom’s cake (a …

A Yellow & Navy Beach Wedding

Monday, July 12, 2010 in real wedding

I recently realized that it’s been a while since I featured a wedding that I’ve *actually* physically worked on, and so today I give you Anne and Vance’s yellow and navy spring wedding! Anne and Vance’s wedding took place at the Sirata Beach Resort in St. Petersburg in April. The weather was perfect (which is hard to come by in Florida), and the decor was absolutely amazing- of course because it was done by MMD Events (the company I work with here in Tampa and also an {ELD} Sponsor To …

A Gorgeously Done Peacock Wedding

Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in real wedding

Today’s wedding comes from one of our {ELD} Sponsors To Love, Studio Blu Images. It incorporates peacock feathers like none other! Peacock feathers are really popular for weddings right now, but I’ve yet to a wedding use them THIS well. It’s not too much, and not too little- it’s juuuuust right. Every single element of the wedding had the peacock feather worked in somehow, and it’s all absolutely gorgeous!

The bouquets are awesome, and so innovative. I think my favorite part is the peacock glass though- what a …

A Green & Black Texas Wedding

Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in real wedding

I hope everyone had a terrific 4th of July weekend! I spent the weekend in the beautiful mountains of Colorado with my family, and let me tell you- it was the absolute best way to spend our nation’s “birthday”. Surrounded by the amazingness of nature, combined with our first family vacation in years, we were certainly reminded to cherish life, each other, and happiness in general!

Which brings me to today’s Texas wedding from McCarthy Studios. There’s no better time than a wedding to cherish all things in life, …

A Purple Midwest Fall Wedding

Friday, July 2, 2010 in real wedding

In honor of the July 4th weekend, I wanted to feature a somewhat patriotic wedding. As you can see from the title, it’s not red, white, and blue- it’s purple! But the purple (of course) isn’t the patriotic part of this wedding- it’s the groom! I have a soft spot for weddings with a groom in uniform, and this purple Nebraska wedding from Ever After Photography has one! Purple is a great color for a wedding happening in any season, and it’s especially perfect for a Fall wedding if you’re …

DIY Wedding by Studio222 Photography

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in real wedding

I’m absolutely OBSESSED with this wedding from Studio222 Photography! Well first of all, I adore Becka and Nate of Studio222, and I think their work is absolutely amazing. When I saw the sneak peeks of this wedding on their blog, I just HAD to have it for {ELD}, and I’m so excited to share it with you all!

This DIY wedding took place at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market in Florida. It’s the perfect venue for a DIY wedding. A little bit about Dayna and Ian’s wedding from Becka:
