I’m deviating from my normal posting “schedule” this week because I really want to share all of the photos from the photo shoot! And so, today we have some details of the {ELD} Country Chic Shoot…

 

The Finds: I hit up my local Hospice thrift store, which was a haven for cheap antique things! I purchased 6 plates in the range of $1 to $15, stemware, and 6 sets of cutlery. I found 2 milk glass bud vases for about $5 each, and a gold vase for $5.  I also picked up some candle holders for something like $3. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I ended up spending a little more than $40 on everything. I borrowed some antique brooches from my friend’s collection at the last minute, but those you can get from $3 to a-whole-lot-of-$, so they’re easy finds. Although I wish I had antique chairs hanging around my house, I don’t, so the chivari chairs were provided by a local rental company, Signature Event Rentals.

Total: $45.00

 

 

The Flowers: I got a couple purple hydrangea (about $6 each), a couple white lisianthus (about $2 per stem), a few purple asters (about $2 per stem), and some yellow filler (can’t remember the name, about $2 per stem).  I am definitely NOT a florist, so I did the best I could using the milk glass bud vases and the gold vase.

Total: $40.00

 

So basically each tablescape amounted to about $85, including the place settings. For the full look, add a table rental (or borrow tables), a burlap runner, and 6 chairs (rental costs vary in all markets), and you’ve got it!

 

 

Other detail goodness:

 

All paper products were provided by the amazing Emily Ley Paper. Emily was kind enough to whip up a beautiful invitation and matching menus and escort cards to tie in more yellow to the shoot.

 

The beautiful wedding dress is by a local Tampa designer, Anglo Couture. I was lucky enough to attend the line’s launch, where unbeknownst to designer Vicky, I secretly picked out this gorgeous dress for the shoot.

 

Oh, and the super cute headpiece was made by the multi-talented photographer Sammy, of J. Monet Studios. She also made the little accessory piece we used on the short dress (dress from Forever 21). She’s a lot more creative than I am- I would’ve never been able to put those together!
