Rustic, Elegant Equestrian Inspiration Shoot

In case you haven’t noticed by now, I love inspiration shoots! Whether I’m posting it here on ELD or designing one, the opportunity to be able to create and share something that hasn’t been seen yet is so exciting to me! Of course the main objective of every inspiration shoot is to inspire brides with all of the elements- centerpieces, style/theme, colors, etc! Well this rustic, elegant inspiration shoot has the twist of a fun equestrian theme, is gorgeous, and is full of inspiration! Deep reds, beautiful florals, excellent design and most importantly… awesome inspiration!

I love the graphic design for the paper goods and the whole style! A huge thank you to the team of wedding pros who put together this fabulous shoot to inspire!

What do you all think? Are you loving this rustic, elegant inspiration?

[...] Maybe it’s because Thanksgiving is only two weeks away (!), but we could really go for some pie. Now, wedding pie isn’t exactly a new idea, but how about pie pops? Similar to the cake pops we told you about in September, these bite-sized desserts are a sweet and easy-to-eat twist on a classic. We like the bright bows on the pie pops above, too. Check out more photos from this pie-filled wedding inspiration shoot here! [...]

Elegant Florida Wedding By pure7studios

This wedding from ELV photographer pure7studios is absolutely gorgeous! Classic, elegant, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. YEP! ;)

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My two Matrons of Honor helped me most with the planning process, and it all came together with the help of Jennifer Warwick-Lewis (It’s a Shore Thing) and Celeste Barefield (Celestine’s).

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

I live six hours away from the wedding venue, so it was important to have a team of vendors that I could rely on to coordinate the local planning efforts.

Did any of your vendors do anything special for you before, on, or after your wedding day that you would like to share?

Pure 7 blew us away.  We had seen their great work, but they still exceeded our expectations.  They were such a pleasure to work with, and are so good at what they do.  During our beach session, Ryan ended up “army crawling” in the sand — in his nice pants, dress shirt and bow tie! — just to make sure he got the right shot.  During our reception, they surprised us with a preview slide show of our engagement photos (which had been taken just days ealier) and later, a preview of photos from the wedding ceremony and beach session.  What a fun surprise for us and our wedding guests!  We’re excited to have such wonderful images to remember that special day!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Of course, my favorite thing about the wedding was marrying my best friend and celebrating with our family and friends!  My next favorite thing was seeing all of the details come together to create the simple but elegant atmosphere I had envisioned.  It was a wonderful day!

A big thank you to the beautiful bride Kendall for sharing some of her wedding insight with us! And thank you to the amazing pure7studios for sending this wedding over! Be sure to check out their ELV listing too- their gallery is full of gorgeous images, and their interview is so fun! :)

Elegant Purple Florida Wedding

This purple wedding sent over by Limelight Photography is so elegant and classy. It’s always kind of nice to see a wedding like this amidst all of the crazy whimsical goodness all over the place, right?

The flowers in this wedding are huge and beautiful! And I love that the placecards and table numbers have the same motif carried throughout- my guess is that it was on the invitation and other paper products as well. That’s the way to do traditional! A big thank you to Limelight Photography for sharing this fabulous purple wedding with us!

Stylish Purple California Wedding

This stylish purple wedding from Troy Grover today is fabulous. It’s simple, but yet still stylish and elegant. The purple adds a sort of chicness to everything, and the bride’s dress- oh my, I love it!

I’m just pretty much in love with her dress. I would like to shorten it and wear it in every day life. :) Looks like the reception was a blast too- lots of dancing going on in those last photos! A big thank you to Troy Grover Photographers for sharing this California wedding with us!
