Inspiration Board: Garden Chic

It’s always a momentous occasion when I do an inspiration board nowadays! :) I’ve had a focus on colors lately because I’m now a contributor for COLOURlovers.com, which is an awesome tool for creating color palettes and patterns. I was inspired by the image in the top left of this board and so I made this “Garden Chic” color palette, and I loved it so much that I had to make an inspiration board for it!

Row 1: Table, Color palette, Centerpiece, Succulent

Row 2: Invitation suite, Bridesmaids, Drink stirrers

Row 3: Centerpiece, Cake, Centerpiece, Bride and Groom

I just love these colors together. The cool thing is that this color palette would be perfect for any season- it’s all in the shades that are used! What do you guys think of it? :)

I looooove this peach and gray Arizona wedding from Leo Patrone Photography. Of course I love the colors, because I love anything with gray, but Leo’s photography is phenomenal! Oh and there are some pretty awesome details too…

Brooklyn Garden Wedding

I’m always jealous of the fabulous venues that are up north and in California. Here in Florida, we have a handful of cool places, and then the rest is just hotels. Needless to say, our fabulous venues are few and far between- literally. This Brooklyn garden wedding from Victor Sizemore is at one of those fabulous venues. Gorgeous garden, and oh my goodness- the atrium that the reception is in! I would die to have one of those here! Oh, and keep an eye out for the table number- I love it!

Those paper products are a favorite of mine too! They’re just awesome! Go on, look at them again….don’t you love them?! Thank you so much to Victor Sizemore for sharing his fabulous work with us!

DIY Yellow & Gray Texas Wedding

This wedding from Simply Bloom Photography is pretty awesome. A little bit of DIY paired with great style is the perfect recipe for a great wedding, no?

A few words from the Simply Bloom ladies… “This wedding stars a beautiful eco-conscious bride, who is known amongst her peers and friends to recycle any type of object with the least bit of “potential” and transform it into something beautiful and useful! Fina and Nathan were married at the Umlauf sculpture center in Austin, TX and their wedding was simply put, a beautifully quirky creation. The colors were soft and stylish. The bride wore a JCrew gown, which took simplicity and beauty to another level. The way Fina floated peacefully about her wedding day was like a fresh breeze; and the way Nathan looked at her smittenly was just as refreshing. We are serious when we say that, every single little detail was planned with a picturesque feel and consciousness. What we loved the most about this event, was that everything about it seemed to shout the bride and groom’s styles and depict who they truly are.”

I couldn’t have said it any better. So, shall we take a look?

Inspiration Board: Peach, Coral & Navy

I’ve really been loving peaches and corals lately, and I haven’t done an inspiration board in a while, so I thought peach and coral would be the perfect starting point! Pairing two colors that are basically the same but different tones works wonderfully for color palettes. Combine peach and coral with a bold navy, and you’ve got yourself a chic spring or summer wedding!

Row 1: Cake, Drinks, Dresses

Row 2: Bride and Groom, Centerpieces, Dessert Table

Row 3: Escort Cards, Letters, Shoes, Centerpiece

And of course peach and coral would go beautifully with other accent colors, like gray, brown, or even green. The type of wedding that you can have is all in the colors and how your decor is done! What’s your favorite color paired with coral and peach?

Real Florida Wedding

It’s a gloomy, rainy day here in Florida, and so I wanted to post wedding that took place in beautiful, sunny Florida! An {ELD} sponsor, Carrie of Studio Blu Images, sent over this wedding, and I just love the simplicity of the colors. The bridesmaids dresses are absolutely adorable too! And keep an eye out for orange fruits…how many can you find? ;)

An Eclectic Purple Garden Wedding

I recently discovered the work of Kallima Photography, and I knew I HAD to share this eclectic garden wedding with {ELD} readers! It looks like Angie and Shawn’s bridal party were a blast, and the details are pretty awesome! Plus, Kallima Photography’s photojournalistic style makes you feel like you’re actually there at the wedding. I love it!
