Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

We have a progressive, modern style, with timeless, classic undertones. We love to push the limits of creative wedding photography, but we also want to make sure our brides and their families will have great photos that they cherish for generations. We're inspired by mid-century modern design and love seeing elements of typography in the wedding details.

 

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

One of our favorite things to photograph is our bride's bouquet, and a well designed bouquet can compliment every other detail in your wedding. The bouquet is one of the best ways a bride can showcase her personality, and we've seen some really great ones.

 

What is your favorite store or brand?

For technology, our favorite brand has to be Apple. We have an extremely high expectation for quality, and you know Apple's never going to skimp. We both love shopping at Zara and H&M, and we dress our little guy in Baby Gap.

 

What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?

Take your time and choose vendors that compliment your personal style. Shop around before contacting vendors, and make sure you know what you're looking for. Everything is easier when you work with vendors that you trust 100%.

 

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

Being a married couple, we understand the gravity of what a wedding really means to two individuals. We love shooting pictures of people in love, and our favorite part of the day are the vows that a couple commit to each other. Our favorite things to photograph are the intimate portraits with our bride + groom when no one else is around, when you can just be you. Engagement photos are pretty rad too!

 

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

We're a married couple, and we both work closely with our couples from the very get go. We love to have a face-to-face meeting, shoot an engagement session, and chat before the wedding day with each couple, so when the big day rolls around you'll like you know us, you can trust us, a you're comfortable with us. We take the time to ensure that we're going to get along and that our personalities will mesh long before the wedding actually happens. Your photographer is the only vendor that you'll spend your entire day with, so it's pretty important that you like being with them!

 

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

Well like we've already mentioned, we include an engagement session with every wedding we shoot. This allows us to work with our couples before the wedding day, and you'll have a sense of what to expect and a level of trust that can't be had without seeing yourself in our photos. We love to help with wedding day scheduling, and do our best to know exactly what to expect before the day gets going.
